CORT Consumer Law Training

Description

This 3 day training will be held in-person in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

This three-day substantive law training is designed for experienced consumer advocates and advocates who are new to consumer law seeking a basic understanding of the topic. The training consists of three tracks: Track I: Mortgage Foreclosure; Track II: Autofraud Litigation; and Track III: The Cost of Credit – Debt Collection. Some of the topics we will cover include mortgage servicing rules, land installment contracts, reverse mortgages, bankruptcy, autofraud issues, debt collection defense, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
