CORT First Friday Webinar - Early COVID-19 Advocacy: A Survey of Wins and Wish Lists for Low-Income Clients in CORT States

Description

Please join us for this opportunity to share COVID-19 advocacy progress in our region! This state advocacy overview is the first in CORT’s series of April webinars on COVID-19. A panel of legal aid advocates from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia will provide updates from their states on advocacy efforts that have taken place since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Panelists from unrestricted programs will discuss working with state legislators and administrations on protections for low-income clients. Panelists from restricted programs will discuss efforts to provide decision-makers and unrestricted partners with information about client experiences during the pandemic and clarifying new policies and procedures for clients.
