Join us for a unique and fascinating conversation with Dr. Leslie Ellis. Dr. Ellis has a PhD in social psychology and has years of experience advising law firms on the psychological aspects of the litigation process. She has been studying legal and jury decision-making for over 30 years.
This training will cover the psychology of judicial decision-making, including:
- How judges generally make decisions and cognitive errors they tend to make;
- What makes witnesses credible and how to prepare them to improve credibility before a judge or jury;
- Factors you want to consider (1) when deciding how you are going to present to the judge or (2) in your own decision-making;
- Q&A regarding cases participants are handling (keep facts general with no identifying information)
